Description
The Teks Self-Piercing Screws are steel washer hex head style screws that allow for self-fastening into metal on metal applications. These metal fasteners are available in a drill point or a sharp point option. Drill point screws are available in a standard zinc-plated option or a corrosion resistant option, and are self-drilling, allowing for no pilot hole being needed before installing onto the material. Sharp point screws are standard zinc-plated fasteners that are self-tapping, which requires a pilot hole that is slightly smaller than the screws diameter. Teks Self-Piercing screws are highly versatile and are great for thicker gauge metal projects such as roofing, HVAC, steel stud framing, gutters, and register vents.
