The 4.8” coil spring with 5mm diameter tempered steel wire provides 1.375” (35 mm) of vertical suspension compression travel acts like a shock absorber to automatically adjust height for travel over uneven surfaces. The 8” diameter flat free tire means that it stays round and rolling freely even in the dead of winter and eliminates gate sagging and maintains a level gate. The gate wheel caster rotates a full 360 degrees on a heavy duty 3.5” industrial grade ball bearing assembly to travel in any direction. The universal fit 5.7mm thick zinc plated steel mounting bracket has two 11.5mm / .45” mounting holes for solid attachment to wood, cyclone, metal or tubular steel pipe agricultural gates. The 8” x 1.875” flat free solid rubber tire is fitted to a stamped steel rust resistant zinc electroplated hub with 6 reinforcing rivets and 2 sets of ball bearings riding on a ½” steel axel.
