Simpson Strong-Tie SP2 Stud Plate

The SP stud plate tie is a plate-to-stud connection providing uplift resistance. Ideal for connecting studs plates at a ninety degree angle to provide additional support. Stud plate ties are suitable for windy environments as the reinforced stud plates are protected from being pulled apart by high winds from hurricanes, tornados, etc. This unit attaches the stud to double top or double bottom plates stud for a low profile finish.
