Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with thicker walls and extra gusseting, they are five times stronger and more rigid than stock units. Procomp tailshaft housings include a standard bushing and seal or a roller bearing at the end of the shaft, depending on the application. Those with a roller bearing feature reworked passages for the yoke and rear bearing assembly that help keep the bearing well lubricated.
