The Pewag 1/2″ square security chain has been specially hardened to 63 HRC 6% deep, which makes it extremely tough to cut with any standard tools. Unlike standard round chain, the square design of this chain won’t allow bolt cutters to cut through it. . About Viro security locks. The Viro Monolith lock is a true security lock that has been specifically designed to be used in conjuction with our Pewag security chain. It’s unique design does not allow for any tools to get a grip to cut or open the lock. A rotating anti-drill plate and pick resistant counterpins also help prevent theft.
